Another Mythic Encounter

We have once again encountered the mythic Earth deities, this time the Celtic deities alone. We were studying a stellar core fragment when we discovered a planet in its path. As we approached the planet, we learned that it was inhabited, but more remarkably, the core fragment wasn't causing the planet any issues which was strange.

The planet was inhabited by humans. These humans were originally from Earth, Ireland specifically, and their ancestors had been brought to the planet by the Celtic gods roughly a millennia ago. Upon an away team beaming down which I joined, we discovered that the planet was called Tuatha, as were the people that lived on the planet. We soon learned that the people that lived on the planet were not alone, the Celtic deities lived there, and they were the actual Tuatha people, a race of beings that evolved into god-like entities eons ago, likely one of the first races to ever evolve in our galaxy.

We had a few brief encounters with them, these Tuatha. Unlike other entities of this power level, they are generally benign. That isn't to say they aren't dangerous, but regarding humans and other mortal beings as they refer to us, they seem to value our lives and do not wish to cause the sort of chaos that races like the Q have been known to cause. We gained useful information while speaking with them, notably that another race of these deities that we have encountered are referred to as the Asgardians, and a third as Olympians, all of which at one time were on Earth and were viewed as gods. All of these races have evolved to have significant power, but each apparently views mortals in different regards.

We also were shown a piece of technology, *CLASSIFIED* and the Tuatha known as Bridgit removed it. Commander Celes and Lt Senn may have additional information regarding it. I recommend that we attempt to keep friendly relations with the Tuatha, but it has been made clear that they wish to minimize contact on their homeworld. I believe we should honor the request.
