Welcome to the USS Washington-E, a post-Dominion War sim. The year is 2386. The Dominion War has been over for several years, but its aftermath is still unfolding. The Federation and the Romulans are the only two major powers, and only the Federation is stable, to a point. The Klingon Empire is still rebuilding and addressing its many wounds from the war, Cardassia is in shambles and occupied, and the Romulans are in far worse shape because of their own misdeeds than they would have outsiders believe. The Federation is now the lone superpower in the Quadrant, a role it neither wants nor enjoys. Exploration has returned, but the dangers of space have never been more pronounced. Welcome to the USS Washington, where danger and adventure lurk around every corner.

May was another good month as a whole, with lots of posting, the end of one mission, the start of another, and at the end of the month, the welcoming of two new players. Well, another month in the books. April was a posting bonanza for virtually everyone, which made it hard to determine who was the most deserving of many awards. Shran made his way down to Engineering. The warpcore was humming along, as were the warp engines with the ship now moving at Warp 8. The Andorian took a moment to look around, everyone moving around with purpose to keep things running smoothly.
Suddenly Shran heard the familiar voice of Lt O'Connor, "Simpson, look at that plasma flow. You keep up that sloppy work and I am going to transfer you to waste extraction."

We have once again encountered the mythic Earth deities, this time the Celtic deities alone. We were studying a stellar core fragment when we discovered a planet in its path. As we approached the planet, we learned that it was inhabited, but more remarkably, the core fragment wasn't causing the planet any issues which was strange.
