Mission: Sins of the Empire
Location: Imik's cabin
Timeline: Present

ON

Imik had been relaxing in her cabin, her duty shift wasn't due to start for another few hours. Then red alert sounded, scrambling for her uniform she dressed as quickly as possible. But as quickly as she dressed the alert dropped to yellow, but she had felt torpedo's being launched that meant a threat or possibly a response some other danger. She continued to dress and headed for the door, in the corridor she found others who were unsure what had happened. An Ensign looked at her hands spread wide in a questioning gesture, "Do not just stand there Ensign, report to your duty station." Imik then raised her voice, "Report to your duty stations, our vessel needs us."

On an Ojnas ship the reaction would have been immediate, but this was a Federation ship and the crew didn't react in the same way. Some went back to their cabins others just stood looking at Imik for further information, "A red alert sounded, report to your duty stations." The Ensign now spoke, "But its only a yellow alert now, do we need to rush or just report as an when required?" Imik could not believe what she was hearing, "Ensign, I do not care that it is now a yellow alert. A red alert sounded first, that requires us to report to our duty stations immediately."

She now turned and headed for the turbo lift, but she also noted that the ship was not under attack and in fact it sounded as it was slowing down. Entering the lift she stated "Bridge" and waited as it headed there. The doors opened and the sight that met her eye's surprised her, Shran wasn't on the bridge only junior officers inhabited it. No threat seem imminent but from what she could see Washington was protecting something, she stepped onto the bridge and headed for tactical.
