Mission:
Sins of the Empire
Location: Klingon Planet
As with most Klingon planets, this planet was a terrestrial world filled with expansive mountain ranges and dense jungles and forests. The stone and metal buildings were almost built like they sprung up amongst the setting. Commander Smith and his team materialized in the vast forest that encircled the Klingon colonial outpost. The four-man team was quickly on the move, pushing forward on their mission to covertly infiltrate the outpost and capture Toral.
The team moved swiftly and silently into the outpost, and once there, used continued stealth to minimize contact. They had to be shadows, at least until the next part of the plan was underway.
The doors to the control center opened and the team rushed in, firing phasers at all the Klingons who were caught unaware. With the room now under their control, Bosco held as the door guard while the others worked.
"Murdoch, locate the shuttle bay or starport and get that under control. See if they have any ships hidden away as well" Smith ordered. "Lieutenant, see about locating Toral while you scramble their defenses."
Peck started working on his task, Murdoch already well into his. "Commander, will you look at this. These people have a supply ship delivering parts and presumably food. I didn't think Klingons ate food that wasn't fresh." He began to look stumped. "Do Klingons eat viinerine? I thought that was a Romulan dish. If I knew they were open to other cuisines, I'd have brought some nice steaks, or maybe some chicken cutlets and pasta for a chicken parmesan."
"Shut up you crazy fool. Klingons don't eat none of that crazy food" Bosco said agitated from the entrance.
"I think Murdoch may be on to something here B.A." Smith stated. "Viinerine is Romulan, and Klingons don't eat it, nor very much that isn't freshly slaughtered. Are you finding anything strange lieutenant?"
"I have input a virus that is going to drop the shields in 5 minutes. It will cause most of the secondary defenses to go offline as well" Peck replied.
"You look like you are holding something back" Smith replied.
"Well, Hannibal, getting Toral is not going to be easy. He is in the main battle chamber surrounded by a dozen Klingon guards, and I am detecting a half dozen Romulans as well, likely Tal Shiar. We can't possibly deal with all of them. We need more men."
Smith simply smiled.
"He's on the jazz again" Bosco said in amazement.
"Murdoch, any hidden vessels?" Smith questioned.
"Best I got for you is an old Klingon civilian transport, along with the Romulan supply ship and a Romulan scout ship" Murdoch answered. I can't do anything about the scout ship, but I have already hacked into the transport ship, and I can do the same thing with the supply ship if you want."
"They'll attempt to escape on the scout ship" Smith said with a smile. "You up for flying a Romulan ship Murdoch?"
"I am up to flying anything Commander, you know that" Murdoch replied.
"I am not getting into any ship that crazy fool is piloting" Bosco said emphatically.
"Calm down B.A. That isn't part of the plan" Smith replied. "Murdoch, give me an old bait and switch."
"Can do Commander" Murdoch replied.
As the defenses dropped on the outpost, the Ch'Tang decloaked and fired its disruptors at the defense towers, destroying 3 of them and seriously damaging the others as it made its way back out of the planet's atmosphere. The transport vessel took off, cloaking as it rose in the atmosphere, as did the Romulan supply ship.
Things were moving according to plan, even if the plan appeared to be controlled chaos.
