The situation was tense, yet fluid. Ibarra had watched Jon kill two Klingons as they made their way further into the outpost. She wasn't sure if the Commander knew where he was going or not, but it wasn't her place to question. As they entered a courtyard several Klingons with bat'leths drawn charged at them as they gave a familiar Klingon war cry.
Jon pushed further into the outpost with Ibarra behind him and then Kate and Hathaway. As they moved into a courtyard, they were attacked by several Klingons. Jon didn't waste a moment; he brought his phaser up and quickly shot them all and kept on going.
Ibarra was keeping her head on a swivel, but she was the navigator in the group with her tricorder. "Another 30 meters forward before we make a right turn. Detecting 4 Klingon signatures headed this way" she said as she continued to follow behind Jon.
"30 meters forward and then turn right." Jon repeated. "Got it. Everyone keep up. We have company coming get ready to take them down." he spared a glance at Ibarra, "You're doing fine." He said encouragingly.
Smith's voice came over the comm. =^= Smith to Grayson. Back of the outpost, Romulan scout vessel. We have a bingo. Waiting for you for extraction. =^=
Hearing the message a grin spread across Jon's face. =^= Roger Commander. We're on our way to your location.=^= Jon replied. he then turned to the rest of the team. "We have an appointment to keep so let's not keep Commander Smith and his team waiting."
Kate exhaled slowly, the knot in her chest finally loosening. She reached over and punched Hathaway in the shoulder, harder than she probably needed to.
"Let's get the hell out of here so we can argue about that locker."
Hathaway winced and rolled his shoulder back with a short laugh. "Keep it. We'll find something else to bicker about when we get home."
"Deal," Kate said.
The team fell into step behind Jon, moving at a clip through the outpost's dusty outer courtyard and into the open air beyond, the sounds of the remaining skirmishes growing faint behind them as they closed the distance to the meeting point.

Viviana was not normally a combatant, but the Klingons weren't picky about who they were trying to kill. At the moment, Viviana was doing her best to dodge the attacks of the Klingon trying to kill her, hoping that Wyatt, Vi, or Phoenix would finish off the others and come to her rescue. Of course, that wasn't the only plan, but it was the one she hoped would come to fruition.
Wyatt was dealing with two Klingons and after much parrying of their blows managed to get his phaser up where he shot both. That done, he turned to assist Viviana in her struggles. He reacted quickly shooting the Klingon before he had time to bring his bat'leth down on Viviana's head. "You alright?" He managed to get out as they moved deeper into the outpost.
"Considering the situation, I'm fine" Viviana replied. She looked around at the others. "Anyone in need of medical treatment?"
Wyatt let out a humorless chuckle, "I could use a drink when this is all over." he admitted. he looked at Vienna and James. "You both okay?"
"I'm-" James started before he was interrupted by one final Klingon charging him from behind, rather audibly. James quickly stepped out of the way and grabbed the Klingon in such a way that immediately threw the both of them to the ground. The bloodthirsty individual tried to reach for his bat'leth that had also fallen. James reached for his phaser first and brought the Klingon into a headlock before stunning him.
Phoenix pushed the Klingon off of him and laid for a second to catch his breath. "I'm alright" he said, pulling himself up. He looked down at the Klingon and muttered to himself, "PetaQ." He did a once over of himself to see that he had made it through that scuffle in one piece.
Vienna was busy finishing off her opponent; she’d never tried wielding a bat’leth before but with one lying around from another downed Klingon she’d picked it up when forced to go hand to hand. With a final swing she took out her opponent, happy to be able to take a breather. “Jeeze! That…was a workout!”
Wyatt nodded approvingly at her. "You can add it to your exercise routine Vi, if you desire. It would definitely keep you in shape." He said with a grin. "Not that I am complaining mind you."
"Dios mio" Viviana muttered. "Is it always like this with Klingons?" she questioned.
Suddenly Wyatt's combadge chirped .=^= Grayson to Steele. Package has been secured. repeat we have a bingo. meet us at the back of the outpost.=^=
"Alright everyone. You heard the man. We have an appointment to keep. So let's get a move on."
Phoenix checked himself over again to make sure he was not injured. He promptly moved into position while keeping his eyes peeled to ensure there were no more blood thirsty Klingons trying to kill him and his colleagues.
They traversed the outpost; several downed Klingons spotted along the way. Viviana suppressed her desire to be a doctor. She couldn't do anything for the Klingons; they were obviously dead and moving along on their journey to Sto-Vo-Kor. She couldn't do it. Not the whole time. She was a doctor. As they approached the Romulan vessel, she saw a Klingon that was injured, but obviously still alive.
Viviana rushed over to him. She began to look over his wounds as she scanned him with her tricorder. He was severely injured; he'd certainly be dead in a few minutes without treatment. She began treating the Klingon, the chest wound gushing blood.
The Klingon began to struggle, though it wasn't much considering his condition. "You will not defeat the K'Var, son of Kolos." Viviana was so busy trying to save him, she didn't see that he had took hold of his dagger. He attempted a wild swipe at Viviana.
Viviana avoided it but was obviously frazzled. Lt Peck spotted what was happening and rushed over, pinning the Klingon down. "Doc, I think you made a poor decision. Hope you are alright, but I'm afraid I am going to have to have to do something here that you won't approve of" he said as he took hold of the Klingon's dagger and plunged it into his chest, killing the Klingon instantly.
Viviana was in shock. Her hands were covered in the Klingon's blood. She shook, nearly inconsolable over what had just happened. Peck went over to her and helped her up. "I'm thinking you will need to see the counselor when we get back, but let's get you to safety first."

Toral raced with 3 guards, a Klingon and two Romulans down the corridor towards the secret back exit where he hoped to board the Romulan scout vessel and escape. Suddenly, a loud explosion burst several of the nearby windows as the building itself shook. He looked out the window, and at the nearby landing pad, where the supply vessel had been, now sat only a pile of smoldering wreckage. From the look, it appeared that an explosion inside the vessel had caused the demise of the ship. Toral continued to move as he wondered what sort of explosion could do such a thing. A warp core breach would've meant that he, along with everyone within 10.000 kellicams would be dead at this moment. He knew there was fighting ongoing at both front entrances by Federation troops, but might some sort of operative be afoot?
The sound of battle was intensifying. Toral was growing concerned. He had dealings that the Federation had intervened in several times, and each time, it ended in his defeat. The Federation had a tendency to show up when least expected, and to succeed in tasks that others would fail. The fact that he was currently trying to escape already meant that he was likely about to fail once more, and he was tiring of these dishonors.
As they approached the scout ship Toral was agitated. He still heard the fighting; it was growing closer still. As they entered the ship, phaser fire struck the two Romulans, followed by Toral's Klingon guard. Suddenly Cmdr Smith and his team appeared out of the shadows.
"Toral, I presume. Capt Shran sends his regards, as does Chancellor Martok. I believe you surrender to us now so that things don't get messy."
"I will not surrender to you" Toral said as he drew his dagger.
A phaser blast hit him from behind. As Toral fell to the ground stunned, Peck walked up, "I told you Commander, he wasn't going to surrender."
"Indeed, you did, lieutenant. I believe I owe you three strips of latinum when we get back to the ship" Smith replied with a smile. "You and B.A. secure the prisoners. Murdoch, you and I will get this ship ready for departure."
"I'm not flying in no ship piloted by that crazy fool!" B.A. exclaimed.
"Not to worry Bosco. It will be Cmdr Grayson flying this heap" Smith replied, attempting to defuse the situation.
"I'm holding you to that" Bosco replied.
Smith hit his comm badge, =^=Smith to Grayson. Back of the outpost, Romulan scout vessel. We have a bingo. Waiting for you for extraction. =^=
=^= Roger Commander. We're on our way to your location. =^=
With everyone aboard the Romulan scout ship, Smith ordered Murdoch to lift off. Of course, he wasn't about to inform Bosco that Murdoch was piloting. The ship took off and quickly cloaked as it exited the atmosphere. As they approached the Washington, Smith offered a wry smile. "I do love it when a plan comes together."
